Student Staff
The MMLL is staffed by student staff members who exemplify internationalization and multi-cultural experience. Front-line assistance is provided by language laboratory assistants, who work regularly-scheduled shifts during which they respond to requests from students and faculty who use the lab. Student Managers are experienced language laboratory assistants who manage the MMLL schedules and make sure that the assistants have the skills they need to work with the MMLL's equipment and materials.
Student technology fellows are the unseen members of the student staff. They have specific skills that they use to support faculty or lab-based technology projects. Although they may hold office hours in the MMLL to assist students with a task, they are more often "on call" to offer just-in-time assistance. Student technology fellows are also responsible for managing the world TV system, creating instructions and experimenting with new technologies.
