Technology Integration
The MMLL helps both faculty and students plan and implement the effective use of technology in teaching and learning.
Consultation
Faculty and students are encouraged to talk with the MMLL director about ideas for using technology in teaching and learning. The MMLL can direct you to appropriate campus resources and help you use them. If the resource doesn't exist on campus, the MMLL will attempt to find an appropriate solution. Whatever the idea, the MMLL exists to facilitate its realization.
Student Technology Fellows
Faculty members may request that the MMLL hire one or more Student Technology Fellows to assist in the planning and implementation of technology in teaching and research. STFs can be hired for courses or projects. The faculty member making the request works with the MMLL Director to determine what skills the STF must have and identify candidates for the position. For more information about requesting or becoming a Student Technology Fellow, contact us.
Workshops
Upon request, the MMLL conducts workshops for classes to ensure that all the students have the skills they need to complete course-related tasks and projects. These workshop cans be scheduled during class or at other times during the day. The MMLL also conducts short "getting started" workshops to introduce faculty and students to new technologies and new ways to use older technologies. For more information, contact us.
